Production Coordinator

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a Production Coordinator to handle material control and inventory operations within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. This role is responsible for processing material transactions, production requirements, documentation, and ERP data accuracy while supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-focused, and comfortable working in an ERP system to support daily operations and continuous improvement efforts.

• Location: Jefferson Hills, PA
• Division/Department: Process Equipment Division/Material Control
• Reports to: Material Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle material transactions, production requests, and internal cost/lead-time quotes using Microsoft D365
• Process parts requisitions accurately and efficiently to support production schedules
• Maintain and update open production requirement and shortage reports
• Create complete, accurate job packets for Manufacturing and Assembly teams
• Process nonconforming material and work closely with Production and Procurement to resolve issues
• Follow all Material Control procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Material Control function
• Provide backup support to the Material Control Supervisor as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted; assistance required for items over 60 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and twist as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or material control
• 1+ years of Material Control experience
• Experience with Microsoft D365 or other ERP systems
• Post-secondary coursework in computer or business systems
• Ability to read engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs)
