ScopeAs a Vice President in our Financial Restructuring Group you will lead execution on a variety of transactions, including debtor- and creditor-side engagements ranging from capital markets and refinancing transactions to M&A and broad restructurings. The group offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory and investment banking products and industries.These services include: Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court and in-court restructuringsRaising debt and equity financingProviding distressed M&A advisory servicesAdvising in special situations with elements of distressed investingParticipating in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients ResponsibilitiesYou will lead the execution on a variety of transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructuring, liability management, capital markets and distressed mergers & acquisitionsPrepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial informationCoordinate and perform business due diligence, lead and execute M&A transactionsPrepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentationsValue companies and businessesAssist in the marketing and planning of engagementsLead a deal team including associates and analysts, serving as the “day to day” point person to drive a process and interact with the clientBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisorsRequirement QualificationsDegree qualified7-11 years’ experience in Restructuring or Leveraged FinanceProven deal execution experience in Financial Restructuring, Leveraged Finance or M&ADemonstrable experience in leading discussions with senior client executives and target managementDevelop and review financial modelsHighly proficient at Excel and PowerPointStrong understanding of credit documents and liability management transactionsMust have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneouslyStrong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to grow our business and act entrepreneuriallyMotivated, creative, outgoing and possess strong skills in financial analysisStrong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theoryKeen analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAssist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development effortsDevelop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionalsManagement skills in supervising and training staff

Compensation and BenefitsHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$250,000-$260,000

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
