Contracting Specialist

*Description*
TEKsystems is seeking a Contracting Specialist II to support its centralized Procurement team on a 12-week contract. This role will perform full contract lifecycle responsibilities related to the acquisition of goods and services, including solicitations, RFPs, contract modifications, and vendor coordination.
This is a mid-level, hands-on role requiring someone who can operate independently, follow established processes, and quickly contribute within a public-sector procurement environment.

Manage new requisitions, RFPs, RFQs, and solicitations
Prepare formal and informal bid documents using pre-approved templates
Analyze proposals and bids for responsiveness and compliance
Conduct pre-solicitation planning and strategy discussions
Facilitate vendor communications, including negotiations and redlining contracts
Process contract awards, task orders, and contract modifications
Perform post-award contract administration and resolve vendor or performance issues
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval thresholds, and regulations
Support audits, reporting, and contract documentation management
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders and vendors on procurement processes

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
