Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,421 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13‑week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The assignment includes 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts and travel employment type. Responsibilities As a Cath Lab RN you will work with a skilled team in a cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting the physician with EKG equipment maintenance, angioplasty, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology. Learn complex technologies effectively. Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization for diagnosis or treatment. Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements. Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs). Cath Lab RN duties include standing, walking, bending and leaning for extended periods and lifting patients or up to 50 pounds. The candidate must cope with a fast‑paced environment and possess good stress‑management and interpersonal skills. Requirements BLS and ACLS certifications, NIH certification, 2 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before the assignment.
