Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes inmaintainingand preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will overseeexecutionof ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will alsoshowcaseyourexpertiseby managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/orfacilities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Pinetops, NC.

• Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.

• Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.

• Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance andoptimizingoperational and energy efficiency.

• Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 2+ years working as a maintenance technician.

• Engineering & Manufacturing ProcessesPlanned Maintenance & Backlog.

• Data Analysis & Reportingand Specialist Technical & Engineering Skills.

• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
