Are you a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families?

Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc. (TBCHS) is looking for a dedicated PA/NP to join our team and provide compassionate, high-quality care to our community.

At TBCHS, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while providing comprehensive medical care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

As a PA/NP, you'll provide general medical care and treatment while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients' health and providing preventive healthcare.

• Evaluating and treating urgent and emergent medical conditions within your scope.

• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.

• Prescribing medications and recommending appropriate treatments.

• Referring patients to physicians and specialty resources when needed.

• Developing and documenting individualized plans of care.

• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Monitoring patient goals and outcomes.

• Supervising interns as assigned.

• Maintaining compliance with Michigan licensing requirements and completing required CME.

• Providing professional, timely, and patient-centered care.

New graduates are welcome to apply! Experience may include prior clinical practice or recent graduation from an accredited program with pending certification.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program .

• Current, valid Michigan PA-C or NP license .

• National and/or state certification as required by TBCHS.

• Must be in good standing with applicable regulatory boards.

• Current DEA registration .

• BLS certification required at hire.

• Site-to-site travel is required.
