Cooking InstructorLocation: Agapeland Christian Academy 1030 4th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93304Program Dates: February 2, 2026 – March 31, 2026 Schedule: Thursdays, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Grade Levels: 1st – 6th GradePosition OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cooking Instructor to lead a fun, hands-on after-school cooking program for elementary school students. The instructor will introduce basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, nutrition awareness, and simple recipes in an engaging and age-appropriate way.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and has a passion for cooking and teaching life skills in a positive, structured environment.ResponsibilitiesLead weekly 2-hour cooking classes for students in grades 1–6Teach basic cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen etiquettePrepare lesson plans and age-appropriate recipesSupervise students and maintain a safe, clean learning environmentManage classroom behavior and encourage teamwork and creativityCommunicate professionally with school staff and program coordinatorsClean and organize materials and workspace after each sessionQualificationsExperience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camps, after-school programs, etc.)Basic cooking or culinary knowledgeReliable, punctual, and professionalStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to pass a background check (if required by the school)Teaching or culinary certification is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join Us?Make a positive impact by teaching practical life skillsFun and supportive school environmentConsistent weekly scheduleOpportunity to build teaching experience in enrichment programsJob Type: Part-timeWork Location: In person Athletes Global Corporation
