Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Rockport, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that patient focus and organization are maintained throughout your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Manage and monitor telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures as indicated.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS preferred.
• Strong IV skills and telemetry monitoring experience.
• Ability to float within the unit as necessary.
