Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per pay period); Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4-6, Night shift ratio 1:5-7

• 34-bed adult medical-surgical telemetry unit in a premier 815-bed hospital with Magnet designation and top 1% national ranking
• Comprehensive team support including charge nurses, CNAs, and unit coordinators on every shift
• EMR system: Cerner
• Floating limited to other medical-surgical units and occasionally emergency department holding area
• May float to other medical-surgical units, fostering skill development and professional growth
• Collaborative environment serving a diverse patient population requiring telemetry monitoring and critical thinking

Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills required
• Medical-surgical experience with ability to assess patient acuity and escalate care appropriately
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Demonstrated reliability and teamwork orientation
