Our client, a contemporary fashion boutique, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the team in Williamsburg . This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately. Candidates should be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include
Serve as Acting Store Manager as needed, overseeing daily store operations, team leadership, customer experience, and execution of brand standards in the Store Manager’s absence.
Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, operational checklists, and end-of-day sales recaps/reporting.
Coach, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve individual and store goals, strengthen product knowledge, and deliver an elevated luxury client experience.
Oversee key back-of-house and operational functions, including receiving and processing shipments, inventory organization, replenishment, stock accuracy, and maintaining an organized sales floor and stockroom.
Job Qualifications Include
2+ years of premium or luxury retail experience, ideally with prior supervisory, key-holder, or Assistant Store Manager responsibilities.
Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate a team, drive sales performance, and deliver an elevated client experience.
Highly organized and operationally proficient, with experience in opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, shipment processing, and daily sales reporting.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for duration of shift.
Salary: $60K + commission
