Aircraft & Powerplant Mechanic

West Metro Aviation is seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team in Buffalo, Minnesota. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including annuals, 100-hour inspections, and system diagnostics Ensure all work meets West Metro Aviation’s “air show-level” quality standards, with exceptional attention to detail Accurately document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA requirements Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects while maintaining high workmanship standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required Minimum of 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Humble: Willing to learn, open to feedback, and focused on team success over individual recognition Hungry: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a drive to continuously improve Smart: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with team members and customers You should be proficient in: Maintenance and Repair Skills #J-18808-Ljbffr West Metro Aviation
