Job Description
Title: Sterile Processing Technician - Endoscope Processing

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience
- Certification in sterile processing (e.g., National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with endoscope reprocessing, including colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, and cystoscopes
- Proficiency in manual cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, and the use of Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER)
- Knowledge of high-level disinfection (HLD) and steam sterilization processes
- Ability to perform sterilization monitoring and testing, including biological and chemical indicators

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and sterilization of endoscopes and other medical instruments
- Assemble and organize instrument sets and trays, and handle loaner trays and implants
- Maintain aseptic technique and documentation for all sterilization processes
- Operate sterilization equipment and perform routine monitoring and testing of sterilization methods

Compliance / Notes:
- Background checks and references are required
- Pre-start modules are required (non-billable; typically ~16 hours)
- A vehicle is necessary for this assignment
