Experienced Diesel Technician

Job Overview Mercedes-Benz of Loveland is looking for an experienced diesel technician. The position is full‑time, located in Northern Colorado. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates. Compensation $35 to $50 per hour, flat rate based on experience and skill level Well lit shop with factory equipment Special tool room with new special tools Tool boxes provided Latest software and computer terminals in our shop Uniforms provided Continued paid training Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures. Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional needed service and provide estimates of time required. Complete all tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Two‑year college degree in vehicle maintenance/automotive technology preferred. Strong automotive background. Strong teamwork skills. Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
