Phlebotomist

Duration: 3+ Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) Shift: Mon-Fri with four shifts - 6:30 am-3 pm, 7:30 am-4 pm, 9 am- 5:30 pm, 10:30 am- 7 pm Saturdays 6:30 am-3 pm Pay Rate: $26.88/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education) Job Summary: The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for providing excellent patient care by performing blood collection (phlebotomy) and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, accurate, and comfortable experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Perform blood draws (venipuncture, capillary, paediatric & geriatric collections) Prepare and process specimens for lab testing Verify patient information and ensure accurate labelling of samples Maintain proper documentation and records Follow all safety, PPE, and company protocols Provide a professional and friendly experience to patients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Handle both clinical and forensic specimen collection Work independently while meeting daily deadlines Travel to different locations as required Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement.
