Job Title: Senior Reliability Engineer RCM Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer with strong experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), reliability analysis, asset data integration, and maintenance strategy development to support a refinery reliability program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead RCM studies, FMEA, criticality assessments, and maintenance task selection for industrial assets.
- Facilitate RCM workshops and perform RCFA/bad-actor analysis to improve equipment reliability.
- Use ReliaSoft tools including Weibull++, BlockSim, XFMEA, and RCM++ for reliability analysis.
- Develop reliability models and metrics including Weibull, MTBF, MTTR, and hazard rates.
- Translate RCM recommendations into PM strategies, maintenance plans, and task lists.
- Integrate RCM outputs with SAP PM, Maximo, or other EAM/CMMS systems.
- Prepare RCM, FMEA, criticality, maintenance strategy, and gap-analysis documentation.
- Collaborate with Reliability, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Master Data teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering, RCM, maintenance strategy, or asset reliability.
- Strong hands-on experience with RCM, FMEA, RCFA, criticality analysis, and maintenance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ReliaSoft tools such as Weibull++, BlockSim, XFMEA, and/or RCM++.
- Experience with SAP PM, Maximo, or other EAM/CMMS platforms.
- Experience working with rotating, static, electrical, and instrumentation assets.
- Strong understanding of reliability metrics including MTBF, MTTR, Weibull analysis, and hazard rates.
- Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance strategies and PM task plans.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Refinery, petrochemical, chemical, or process-industry experience is highly preferred.
