Licensed Claims Counsel

To support claims management, the remote Licensed Claims Counsel will investigate and resolve title insurance claims, manage litigation, and collaborate with various stakeholders while holding a Juris Doctorate and a valid law license. Key responsibilities Conduct investigations of claims and develop resolution strategies based on legal analysis Direct and supervise litigation, including engaging outside counsel and negotiating settlements Draft agreements, training materials, and present at seminars while assisting in claims management tasks Required qualifications Juris Doctorate Degree Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state Minimum five years' experience in title insurance claims administration or real estate law Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to read and interpret legal documents and prepare presentations
