Job Description
Join Our Exceptional Team as a Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist!

Job Description:


- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
- Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- CCI RCIS
- State Licensed if applicable
- General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Schedule Options:
- 0700-1530 OR 0800-1630
- Ratio / Census: 2 Rooms
- Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified
- Floating: Within the facility/scope of practice as needed
- Call Requirements: 4-man call team; 3 teams
- Holidays:
- Expected to work if one major holiday falls within the assignment period.
- If two major holidays fall, expected to work both.
- Expected to work two of three major holidays if assigned.


Compliance:
- Full compliance required to start on time.
- Push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
- Clinical screen conducted to determine fit.

- Central Venous Access/Port Placement
- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP Placement/Removal
- Impella insertion
- Pacemaker Insertion
- Sterile Technique
- Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
