In addition to AP functions, the position will reconcile company credit card statements, ensure proper use of the Purchase Order system, and provide assistance to field personnel on all aspects of the PO system.**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment* Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms* Process check requests* Audit and process credit card statements* Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly* Maintain vendor database to ensure accurate 1099 reporting* Respond to all vendor inquiries* Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies* Assist in month end closing process* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices* Assist with other projects as needed**Required Skills/Abilities:*** Must have strong work ethics* Must be well organized and a self-starter* Must be able to follow standard filing procedures* Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable* Possess strong organizational and time management skills* Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills* Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing* Ability to interact with associates and vendors in a professional manner* Ability to speak and write English* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness* Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately**Education/Experience:**· 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience with a property management company or multiple site company environment· High school diploma required, associate’s degree and/or college courses in accounting preferred· Prior experience with Yardi highly preferred· Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch# Why Harmony?* 401k + Fulltime & Part-time Benefits Packages* Training, Development & Career Laddering* Great work-life balance* Flexible Scheduling### WelcomeHarmony Senior Services is a certified Great Place To Work and one of the country’s fastest growing companies in the luxury senior living industry offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 45+ locations across the United States.### About UsHarmony Senior Services was founded on the belief that people deserve access to high quality senior living options.
