Be 21 years or older Have a valid TX Driver’s License We apply pre-employment background and drug screening Responsibilities - Automotive Driver and Porter You’ll be trained on the job, although some prior automotive knowledge is helpful. A responsible attitude is essential. You will be entrusted with moving and caring for valuable property. You must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. A good auto porter is detail-oriented and willing to do a wide range of tasks when the manager asks. Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to different locations as directed by management. Follow all safety/driving procedures when operating and or transporting vehicles Keeps used-vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed Remove license plates and replace with dealership commercial license plate covers and frames Fill out used vehicle inspection sheet and report cosmetic and mechanical damages Assist used car manager in preparing cars for auction with proper forms and paperwork as instructed Ensure that required forms/ stickers have been completed and are properly displayed.
