Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit serving a diverse patient population
• Perform and interpret EKG readings, manage cardiac monitors, and conduct blood glucose monitoring
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5, collaborating with RNs, EMTs, and medics across all shifts
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Meditech EMR
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff and providers to ensure continuity and quality of care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital emergency department experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level II Trauma center experience
• Stroke program experience
• Energetic, collaborative personality with strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment
