Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate and diagnose clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, identifying any co-occurring disorders in a compassionate manner. \n
- Collaborate with clients to draft personalized treatment plans that effectively integrate evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique circumstances. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing vital coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques to aid clients in achieving sustainable recovery. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring seamless coordination with team members to deliver holistic and integrated treatment. \n
- Implement regular monitoring of substance use, using motivational interviewing techniques to reinforce positive behavior changes in clients. \n
- Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment protocols. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Participate in periodic case conferences, staff meetings, and professional training sessions to continuously enhance your skills in treating co-occurring disorders. \n
In this role, you will be working primarily with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a wide range of challenges. By providing compassionate, evidence-based care, you will help patients navigate their unique recovery paths and improve their overall quality of life.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington. \n
- Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). \n
- A thorough understanding of the intricate relationship between mental health issues and substance use disorders. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration within an interdisciplinary team. \n

- Previous experience working with clients facing co-occurring disorders or in a community health setting is highly preferred. \n
- Familiarity with integrated care models and interdisciplinary teamwork is advantageous. \n
The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a potential sign-on bonus.
