In each of our regions, we are the best in radiology, offering all radiology services!The Patient Registrar will greet, register, and schedule patients as well as perform other clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have a medical background.Our ideal teammate:Is a self-directed learner who is willing to apply direct feedback and continuously and humbly self-assess in order to grow personally and professionally.Will work under general guidance with some expectation of autonomy.Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.Has the ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Essential Functions of a Patient Registrar:Register patients at the front desk.Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to complete appointment scheduling, cancellation, and confirmation requests.Provide the first available appointment by matching patient preferences with specific scheduling guidelines.Collect and coordinate accurate basic registration, demographic, and insurance information.Process multi-channel messages related to patient and physician requests.Functions as a team member to organize and prioritize responsibilities to complete daily work assignments.Education and Experience:High School degree or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of prior medical coordination or similar experience preferred.What We Offer:Immediately accrue PTO as you work!
