Role At A Glance We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic operator to own the commercial economics behind how we monetize and optimize our SaaS and payments business throughout the customer lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Payments Operations, Customer Operations, and Product, with a primary focus on strategic deal desk governance, margin optimization, commercial approvals, and revenue quality. The role is heavily focused on evaluating deal structure, payment economics, customer profitability, renewal quality, and monetization performance to help drive scalable and profitable growth across the business. What You'll Do Commercial Governance & Deal Desk Own strategic deal desk governance across the business Evaluate non-standard deals, pricing exceptions, discounting, and contract structures Review deal profitability, payment economics, implementation complexity, and long-term customer value Establish approval frameworks and commercial guardrails Partner with Sales, Finance, Payments Operations, and Customer Operations on complex commercial structures Improve revenue quality, monetization consistency, and gross margin performance Monetization, Renewals & Business Insights Analyze SaaS and payment monetization performance across the customer lifecycle Support initiatives tied to payment revenue, fee structures, renewals, and multi-product adoption Build visibility into deal profitability, customer economics, monetization trends, and margin drivers Translate operational and financial data into actionable business recommendations Identify automation and AI opportunities that improve commercial efficiency and operational scalability What We're Looking For 7+ years in Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Strategy, Strategic Finance, RevOps, or Business Operations within SaaS or payments Strong understanding of SaaS and transaction/payment monetization models Experience operating within strategic deal desk and commercial approval environments Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, Payments, and Customer Operations Highly structured operator with strong business judgment and bias toward outcomes What Success Looks Like Better deal quality, velocity and stronger gross margin performance Smarter and faster commercial approval processes Improved monetization consistency and payment economics Stronger renewal quality and customer profitability Reduced revenue leakage and better operational scalability Clear visibility into revenue quality, customer economics, and monetization performance Perks & Benefits Compensation ranging from $130,000 – $170,000 annual, tied to experience; potential for bonuses Generous PTO and sick leave 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Free snacks and paid lunches in the office Stock options and equity participation Access to the best tools and equipment Endless growth opportunities as the company expands All roles are on-site only.
