Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Every Other Weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III to provide high-quality care for neonates, including those with complex medical conditions such as neonatal abstinence syndrome. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering medications, managing respiratory support, and providing developmental care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Administer blood products and manage IVs for hydration and medication delivery.
• Monitor neonates with cardiovascular telemetry and respiratory support.
• Support feeding initiatives, including breastfeeding and enteral feedings.
• Conduct patient/family teaching to enhance understanding of care processes.
• Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal care, including ventilator management and medication administration in critical situations.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is required.
