Job Summary:
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) RN located in New Britain, Connecticut. This position involves working in a specialized care environment that primarily serves low-acuity patients with complex medical needs, including cardiac monitoring and respiratory care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves providing high-quality patient care and may include floating between similar units as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: New Britain, Connecticut
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, every other weekend required
• Required Qualifications: RN license, 2 years of experience, BLS certification; ACLS preferred, experience with respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred; proficiency in skills such as IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, wound care, trach care, suctioning, Foley care, port access, and central line dressing; prior travel experience is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with respiratory/vented patients, EMR experience with Epic, teaching hospital experience.
• Float: Float to like units is not required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit profiles that are clear and easy to review; any issues will be sent back for corrections. Experience with respiratory/vented patients should be clearly noted if applicable.
