Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Portland, Oregon hospital location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role operates Monday–Friday with early morning shifts and occasional weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
Provide exceptional customer service and handle administrative duties

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Pass standardized color blindness test
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled
