Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Conduct respiratory therapy interventions to support patient breathing and respiratory health. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care aligned with clinical protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments, including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and document findings accurately.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements, including BLS and RRT credentials.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2+ years of recent respiratory therapy experience.
• Certified in BLS, and RRT credentials are required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vent management, airway management, and clinical documentation.
• Possess Epic charting experience or equivalent clinical record-keeping skills.
• Ability to obtain temporary licensure if pending a permanent state license.
