QUALITY ENGINEER POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Engineer will ensure overall quality of manufactured products and compliance with certifications.

QUALITY ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Set detailed guidelines for quality checks and define quality standards. Update the Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements Audit systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible Inspect product materials and electrical systems for defects and durability Identify the root of technical issues and recommended fixes Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions (defect rates) Review current blueprints and quality documentation Set and track quality assurance goals Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure compliance with legal and certification requirements Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the product Schedule all testing required for product certifications to codes and standards Schedule audits and payments for renewal of all codes and standards

QUALITY ENGINEER COMPETENCIES

Quality/Accuracy Communication Proficiency Engineering Principles Attention to Detail Technical Capacity Mathematics & Statistics EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences. Minimum of two years related experience. Minimum of two years’ experience interpreting product design, layouts and basic drafting room practices. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar systems.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
