A Day in Your New Role

As an RN, you will play an important part in ensuring donors have a safe, positive, and comfortable experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform donor health assessments and screenings

• Obtain and evaluate vital signs

• Monitor donor well-being throughout the donation process

• Recognize and respond appropriately to donor concerns or reactions

• Provide education, reassurance, and aftercare instructions

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Follow established clinical protocols, quality standards, and safety guidelines

• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent donor care
