Batch Mixer

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st or 3rd Shift

As a Batch Mixer, you'll be responsible for preparing and producing chemical batches while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the manufacturing process.

• Follow batch sheets and production formulas to accurately manufacture products.
• Measure, weigh, and add raw materials, liquids, and powders to mixing equipment and reactors.
• Monitor pumps, mixers, mills, gauges, and control systems throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.
• Identify and report equipment concerns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support packaging, staging, and order preparation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate production updates and batch information between shifts.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors while receiving ongoing training and development.

• 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or chemical processing experience.
• Experience with batch mixing, blending, formulation, or chemical operations.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Comfortable operating computerized control systems, HMI interfaces, and touch-screen equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial coating, or specialty manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift and material handling experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.75 - $29.95/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
