The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time, salaried/exempt position earning $75,000 annually with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Design and implement behavior support plans that enhance adaptive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors resulting in socially significant consequences for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Participate in person centered planning and/or treatment team meetings to develop, review and update individual plans Observe individual behavior and complete initial behavioral assessments; determine individual’s progress towards goals and modify behavior support plans as needed Develop and deliver training for staff, caregivers, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) on behavior support plans and evidence-based intervention strategies. Provide clinical supervision to RBTs in accordance with agency, state, funder, BACB, and federal requirements. Determine data needs; develop reporting mechanisms for staff use in recording and reporting individual’s behavior Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to assess individual’s behavior, monitor individual’s progress, and adjust behavior plans as needed Conduct in-service training and workshops which enhance staff and caregiver understanding and ability to provide active habilitation and effective behavioral programming Provide documentation and reports in accordance with agency, funder, professional, state, and federal requirements

Maintain a healthy work-life balance with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule Support meaningful clinical outcomes through a manageable caseload with 20 billable hours per week Focus on what you do best—providing clinical expertise and support. BCBAs provide clinical supervision to RBTs on their caseload but do not manage staff. Non-clinical supervision responsibilities are handled by leadership, allowing you to focus on outcomes Receive support maintaining your BCBA certification through access to continuing education opportunities, including local conferences, trainings, and professional development events Mandt and CPR/First Aid training provided by the St. Louis Arc at no cost

Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field required Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification Current Missouri Licensed Behavior Analyst Two years of experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Experience supervising and implementing behavior plans preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and electronic health records systems Ability to analyze, interpret, and present behavioral and productivity data Comprehensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis and modification principles, theories and techniques Knowledge of professional and ethical guidelines and federal and state laws and regulations Understanding intellectual and developmental disabilities and their effect on cognitive and behavioral functioning Ability to develop, explain, and train others on behavior intervention strategies Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with emerging behavior support practices
