Part Time Security Officer

Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3rd shift (12:30 am to 8:30 am)

River Landing at Sandy Ridge, is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a mission "to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve." Security Officers are to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors 24 hours a day. We are looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor and protect the premises. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard. This service includes:

Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle
Maintaining site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Permitting authorized persons to enter property
Preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Providing assistance to residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Responding to emergencies
Ensuring the safety of all residents

Required:

Valid NC drivers license
Must be at least 21 years old
Desire to serve senior adults
Positive outlook
Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
Working independently and on a team
Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
Great communication and documentation skills
