Director of Family Enrollment, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

We are hiring across La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, and South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided. You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, from initial inquiry to final onboarding. This is not a role where you hand off tasks. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is. What You Will Be Doing Taking full ownership of the enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact to complete onboarding. Facilitating needs-based discussions to evaluate compatibility before offering solutions or suggesting next actions. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up. Directing campus tours, student shadow visits, and enrollment conversations that transparently convey outcomes, standards, and the ideal family profile. Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery. What You Won’t Be Doing Applying transactional or aggressive sales techniques. Admitting families who lack alignment simply to meet enrollment targets. Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex hierarchical approvals. Transferring responsibility for the family journey to other staff members. Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based. Director Of Family Enrollment Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver a high-trust, high-selectivity enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and effectiveness of the Alpha educational model. Basic Requirements 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership services, or owner-operated businesses). Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial inquiry to onboarding completion. Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by an organized tracking methodology. Capacity to share specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances when you recommended against your offering because it was not the appropriate fit. Professional writing experience with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA. Work authorization in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements Experience with selective private school admissions or enrollment in competitive programs. Background in high-end hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions. Experience designing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols. Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion alignment, not merely enrollment velocity.
