Red Robin Evergreen Dining LLC Position Description I. Position Summary: The Server is responsible for delivering a fun and satisfying dining experience to Guests and ensuring Guests receive menu suggestions, taking orders and serving food and drinks in a timely accurate manner. II. Essential Functions: Ability to provide excellent Guest experience for up to ten tables at a time. Take pride in all Guests experiences while having fun. When required, serve food and beverages to the Guests promptly. Following the standards set by Evergreen Dining LLC. Ability to execute Service Partner responsibilities at any time as shown below. Practices safe food and beverage handling and cleanliness at all times. Safely handles food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, ice tea machine, etc. Full knowledge of Food and Beverage menu items and terms to provides suggestions to guests. Partner with Service Partner to pre-bus tables. Complete required side-work in a timely manner and perform light restaurant cleaning. Responsible for full reset of table. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests—handle crowds and put Guests at ease. Must have ability to accurately input orders through technology (including but not limited to handheld devices, headsets, etc.) handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions. Able to adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts. Operate and participate effectively in a team environment. Addresses Guest concerns, escalates to manager on duty if needed. Service Partner Essential Functions: Delivers food to guests in a timely manner. Displays excellent Guest service skills and thorough menu knowledge. Helps maintain the dining area cleanliness standards with pre-busing. Must be able to communicate and interact with co-workers in high stress time effectively. Practices safe food and beverage handling and cleanliness at all times. May empty and reline garbage cans, do light floor cleaning, perform restroom checks, and pick up outside grounds. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests. Maintains a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time. Able to adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts. Operate and participate effectively in a team environment. Ability to make non-alcoholic drinks. Ability to identify, organize the accuracy of orders and deliver to Guest. Complete required side-work in a timely manner and perform light restaurant cleaning. Addresses Guest concerns, escalates to manager on duty if needed. Physical Effort Lifting – up to 10lbs constantly, up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Lifting from floor to shoulder frequently and overhead occasionally. Exposed to cleaning chemicals. Reaches constantly. Grasps objects to move or manipulate them constantly. Stands and walks constantly. Listen to and comprehends instructions from Guests and coworkers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly. Frequent hand washing required. III. Other Functions: Other duties as assigned by supervisor Must adhere to company uniform and appearance policy Must wear personal protective equipment as required by Evergreen Dining LLC and or mandated by local Health and Safety Departments. Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent preferred Minimum six months serving experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume full service restaurant. VI. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant. Strong interpersonal skills. Team player VII. Working Conditions: Equipment Computer, calculator, desk supplies, cash drawer, coffee machine, bottle opener, glass racks, dish machine, telephone, food product.
