You will work in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued, and your contributions make a significant impact on improving the lives of those we serve.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate each patient thoroughly, taking into account their medical history, functional limitations, and lifestyle to develop tailored treatment plans.Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adjusting techniques as necessary to meet the evolving needs of patients and adhere to best practice standards.Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans comprehensively, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure clarity and compliance.Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate integrated patient care, discussing changes in patient conditions and required modifications to treatment plans.Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with developments in the field and uphold compliance with all state and federal regulations.Engage in discharge planning and ensure effective follow-up care to promote optimal recovery outcomes.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and team meetings, promoting collaborative problem-solving to enhance patient access and care delivery.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a vital member of our team, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain independence, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life through personalized rehabilitation strategies.QualificationsMust possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.Active state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Virginia Physical Therapy Examining Committee.A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.Current CPR Certification to ensure patient safety and emergency preparedness.Preferred ExperienceWhile not mandatory, experience in home health care and familiarity with rehabilitation technology will be advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and environmental factors are highly valued.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
