Healthy Planet Analyst II

Position Summary The Healthy Planet Analyst is a technology specialist responsible for the full analytics registry delivery cycle, including requirements analysis, data profiling, component development, system configuration, report/dashboard design, and quality assurance. The role supports the Population Health Systems Development team at Boston Medical Center, working with the BMC Health System, the ACO, and Community Connect partners, and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members, external customers, regulatory reporting bodies, and application vendors. Essential Responsibilities Profile and understand large amounts of Epic source data in Chronicles. Gather requirements from business and clinical stakeholders and translate them into registry and/or analytics solutions. Build registries and associated components (rules, metrics, groupers, flowsheets, BPAs, Workbench reports, Radar dashboards, etc.). Work within the Epic build process (TXT and Hyperspace) and other approved configuration tools. Provide ad‑hoc level data analysis support to the team and external customers. Maintain advanced knowledge of Healthy Planet operational workflows and function as a subject‑matter expert. Provide day‑to‑day support and mentoring to end users interacting with registries and components. Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment and take the initiative to learn new tools. Maintain good working relationships with peers, superiors, and application users. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose or EpicCare certification required; Epic Clarity Data Model and/or Caboodle Data Model certification is a plus. Experience: 3‑5 years of relevant experience as an EHR/Clinical Analyst, preferably in a hospital or health system; SQL querying knowledge is a plus. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of Care Management and Ambulatory clinical/operational workflows; strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of dashboard development using Tableau or similar BI platform is a plus; strong written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing); strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to diagnose and solve problems across multiple environments; teamwork, flexibility, friendliness, and enthusiasm. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $71,500.00 – $104,000.00.
