Senior Affordable Housing Property Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Affordable Apartments Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing programs, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Manage leasing processes, including tenant selection, lease renewals, and rent collection. Maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Ensure properties are well-maintained and address maintenance issues in a timely manner. Prepare and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures. Collaborate with team members and external partners to achieve property management goals. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and health standards. Prepare reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies and company policies. Qualifications Must work well in a team environment. Problem solver with a high sense of urgency. Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing, and/or RAD preferred. Strong attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional customer service skills. 4+ years of verifiable experience in property management or a related field.
