Scrum Master / Project Manager

Client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams delivering solutions for commercial banking and payment services, including ACH, Positive Pay, Treasury Services, and payment processing platforms. This role partners closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to facilitate Agile practices, promote accountability, and support the timely delivery of business value. The Scrum Master will guide teams in Scrum execution, remove delivery impediments, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and foster continuous improvement across Agile delivery processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams in Agile and Scrum practices.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Foster self-organizing, collaborative teams focused on delivering business outcomes.
• Partner with Product Owners to support backlog management and Sprint goal alignment.
• Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments affecting team delivery.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate dependencies and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve Scrum processes while minimizing external distractions.
• Support Agile project planning, release readiness, and delivery transparency.
• Facilitate communication among business, product, technology, and operations teams.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, Agile development methodologies, and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
• Experience removing impediments and driving continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Agile project management and release management practices.
• Strong facilitation, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile toolsets.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
• Experience in commercial banking, treasury management, payments, ACH, Positive Pay, or other financial services domains.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams and business stakeholders.
