Process Project Engineer

Our client, a global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Process/Project Engineer for their team in Stevens Point, WI. This role oversees bringing new concepts to life for the overall improvement of safety, operations, efficiency, quality, environmental control, and costs. You will spearhead projects from the design to the installation phase while supporting operations and maintenance to advise and provide assistance as required. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and executing process improvement initiatives Supporting the implementation of plant modifications through change management Selecting the proper equipment and materials to ensure reliability Estimating new projects while overseeing procurements and installations Aiding the operations and maintenance team in diagnosing and resolving complex issues Initiating process improvement initiatives for cost, process and operations Maintaining all documentation including design, changes or improvements Acting as a project manager in all aspects for small to medium sized products Supporting supervisors by being on call to support plant during off hours What You’ll Need To Be Successful: A degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering an asset) A minimum of 10 years of related experience Previous work experience with continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma Health and Safety first mindset Proactive and results driven attitude Strong relationship building and communication skills Compensation Range: $120,000-$125,000 USD #J-18808-Ljbffr ML6 Search + Talent Advisory
