- Lead patient advocacy and clinical care during advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patients feel safe, informed, and physically supported throughout their entire diagnostic journey.
- Manage and administer conscious sedation and medications with precise accuracy, continuously monitoring patient vital signs to guarantee safety and comfort during complex radiology interventions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and technologists to streamline procedural workflows, allowing for efficient, high-quality imaging and reduced wait times for patients.
- Evaluate and prepare patients pre-procedure, conducting critical clinical assessments and reviewing medical histories to mitigate risks and ensure readiness for imaging.
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and recovery guidelines, empowering them with clear, jargon-free instructions for a safe transition home.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
