Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: CST - Certified Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a CST License: BLS Certification required Certifications: National Certification (TSC through NCCT or CST through NBSTSA) preferred Must-Have: - Experience in general surgeries including open and laparoscopic procedures - Proficiency in urology, ENT, ophthalmology, GYN (including C-sections), and orthopedic surgeries - Heavy experience in orthopedic trauma is a must - Experience with after-hours/on-call cases, including trauma and emergency procedures

Description: An ASAP start is needed. The schedule is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM daily. The facility features a total of 4 operating rooms. Candidates are required to have experience with general surgeries including bowel surgeries, gallbladders, appendices, and hernias. Proficiency in urology, ENT, and ophthalmology surgeries is necessary. GYN experience must include C-section circulating. Heavy orthopedic trauma experience is a requirement. Total joints experience is preferred. Candidates must possess experience with after-hours/on-call cases including trauma, ER C-sections, and emergency general surgeries. The average number of cases performed per day is 10-12. Support on the unit is available from supervisors and educators. Technology used includes EMR systems and medication dispensing systems. Call is required with one shift per week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks. Weekdays after 3:00 PM and weekends from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM for emergent cases only. Holiday expectations are for on-call only. The work schedule follows a 6-week cycle.
