This includes the ability to understand, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot (may involve working with manufacturer’s customer service personnel) the applicable equipment and testing methods.* Performs work accurately and precisely and can organize the workload to meet service demands, calmly, efficiently, and without direct supervision.* Performs quality control analyses on all tests assigned and determines whether all parameters are within established ranges.* Participates in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees in coordination with the CLT Lead.* May send out letters to patients, as delegated by clinic leadership, with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments.**REQUIREMENTS for CLT1:*** Able to be certified as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist with the Washington State Department of Health within 90 days of hire.* High School / GED**REQUIREMENTS for CLT2:*** Able to be certified as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist with the Washington State Department of Health within 90 days of hire.* High School / GED* Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting**ABOUT UW MEDICINE PRIMARY CARE**UW Medicine Primary Care is a network of clinics located throughout the Puget Sound region.
