Assistant Store Manager

Hollie Ray is looking for a motivated, confident, and dependable Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team at our Fifth + Broadway location in downtown Nashville. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales, coach and support the team, create an amazing customer experience, and make sure the store runs smoothly day to day. Our Fifth + Broadway store is a fast-paced, high-energy location with a mix of locals and Nashville visitors. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, stay calm when things get busy, and keep both the customer experience and the team on track. What You’ll Do Help lead the store and support daily operations alongside the Store Manager Act as the manager on duty when the Store Manager is not present Lead by example on the sales floor and create a welcoming, engaging customer experience Coach Stylists on customer service, selling, styling, and store expectations Help the team work toward daily and weekly sales goals Keep the team motivated, productive, and focused throughout each shift Assist customers with styling, fitting rooms, product recommendations, and purchases Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily store tasks Help maintain merchandising standards and keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually appealing Communicate inventory needs, product feedback, and store issues to management Help train and onboard new team members Delegate tasks and follow up to make sure they’re completed Support the Store Manager with scheduling, team communication, and other operational needs as needed You’ll Be a Great Fit If You... Have previous retail, customer service, or leadership experience Are confident taking charge and making decisions when needed Genuinely enjoy working with customers and helping people find something they love Can coach and redirect team members in a positive, professional way Are sales-minded and motivated by reaching goals Are dependable, organized, and comfortable with responsibility Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done Can balance customer service, leadership, and operational tasks during a busy shift Communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and your team Enjoy fashion and are excited to learn our merchandise, brands, fits, and new arrivals What We’re Looking For in a Leader At Hollie Ray, leadership isn’t about standing behind the register and telling people what to do.
