Urgent Care Physician

Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) is seeking an Urgent Care provider for a hospital-employed opportunity in West Union, OH. This role involves working in a facility that combines Urgent Care and Family Practice services, operating seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Facility consists of both Urgent Care and Family Practice. Open 7 days/wk, 8am-8pm. Staffing includes 1 nurse per provider and 2 providers per day. Expected caseload of 30 patients per day. Equipment includes IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, EKG. Responsibilities Move at a quick pace and not be overwhelmed by the unknown of what will walk through the door. Be confident in making a quick initial assessment and treatment plan. Complete charts timely. Participate in Antibiotic Stewardship. Compensation Option #1: Base salary of $284,835 (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target. Option #2: Base salary of $353,950 (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract. Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary. Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment). Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years). Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment). Benefits Vacation: 232 hours PTO. Additional 40 hours when producing 75%tile wRVUs. CME/Books & Journals: 40 hours PTO and up to $5000. Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company. Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate. Health Insurance: provider pays small premium, deducted from paycheck. Shift & Schedule Office Hours: 8:00a-8:00p. (6 or 7) 12 hour shifts per two week pay period.
