HVAC Technician

Mico Cooling Corp is a woman-owned, HVAC/R contractor affiliated with Local 638 serving the NYC area since 1983. Our team is currently seeking detail-oriented HVAC Technicians to install, maintain and repair commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. We are looking for mid-level techs with general maintenance experience. HVAC Technician responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Properly complete all necessary written and electronic records for each job Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA. Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. HVAC Technician requirements: 2-3 years independent field experience Technical Trade School & High school diploma / GED Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Certifications - EPA, Fire Guard, Torch Use, OSHA Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Honest and dependable Mechanically inclined Proficient in reading work plans Ability to occasionally work after hours, weekends, overtime and emergency holidays Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to lift 50 lbs. Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle Job Type: Full-time Pay: $62,000 + based on experience, full union benefits Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Occasional after-hours on-call rotation #J-18808-Ljbffr
