Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neuro Experience Required)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 13 or 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on neurological diagnoses, maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and document neurological assessments using the NIH Stroke Scale
• Care for a variety of neurology patient populations with proficiency and clinical confidence
• Float between units within the facility as needed
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Minimum 6 months of neurology patient care experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (local candidates may be considered under a separate rate structure)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with caring for diverse neurological diagnoses in a high-acuity setting
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
