TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Issaquah, Washington, 98029!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Must have experience with Epic charting system. Travel experience required. License: Valid compact license must be in hand at submission. Certifications: BLS FHM NRP AWHONN Intermediate ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Ability to float to different areas based on skill set. Commitment to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). Description: Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Permanent candidates from other facilities may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months. The facility honors active compact licenses. Responsibilities include attending all deliveries and high-risk deliveries. The patient population includes labor and preterm labor. There are 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms available. Special procedures include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion, defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and wound vac. Administration of medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate is required. The nurse will provide couplet care, low-risk antepartum care, and support in the transition nursery. The staffing ratio is 1:1-3. Nurses may have to float to postpartum and NICU based on skill level. Previous charge experience is preferred. The expected facility births per month range from 200-300. Key skills include: Administration of blood and blood products Anticoagulation therapy Managing antihypertensives Assisting with high-risk deliveries Circulating for cesarean sections Performing sterile vaginal exams Triage of obstetrical patients Use of intrauterine pressure catheters and PCA pumps Pain assessment and management Recovery after cesarean sections Isolation precautions and PPE use The role requires expertise in high-risk antepartum management. All required documentation and tasks must be completed as per guidelines.
