The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of projects and operational initiatives within the IPB Administration team. The role focuses on coordinating deliverables, maintaining project plans, preparing reports, tracking action items, and assisting with process improvement efforts. In addition to project-related responsibilities, the individual provides operational support and backup coverage for IPB Associates as needed to ensure business continuity and service excellence. This position serves as a key contributor to the successful implementation of departmental priorities while ensuring adherence to established controls, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Support the end-to-end execution of departmental projects and strategic initiatives. Provide backup coverage for IPB associates during planned and unplanned absences, ensuring continuity of critical business processes and client service. Support business continuity efforts by serving as a flexible resource for operational needs and workload balancing within the IPB team. Review and process client documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Develop guides and checklists to streamline processes and support operational efficiency. Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new tools and processes. Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal policies and procedures for IPB operations. Assist in providing data and logic to design and produce reports and dashboards for operational and analytical support. Assist with onboarding and training for new/existing hires to ensure compliance and operational readiness. Assist in control reviews, audit responses, and remediation efforts related to project initiatives. Support implementation of compliance and regulatory changes impacting IPB. Required Skills Ability to prioritize, organize, delegate, and follow up on assignments. Project management skills. Ability to leverage critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems. Ability to present a confident and professional demeanor to establish trust and convey knowledge. Excellent level of knowledge of general banking practices, regulations, and Valley procedures. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to interpret report results and formulate changes or improvements in response to results. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and staff. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Required Experience High School diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum of 3 of related experience in Banking, compliance, project management, or data analytics. Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
