Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Promotion Data Specialist who will primarily manage all aspects of sales promotion data. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate pricing and customer satisfaction through effective management of price lists and customer rebates.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, prepare, and distribute price lists for assigned customers.
• Ensure that pricing for all products is correct and accurately reflected on the pricing lists.
• Calculate, prepare, and distribute customer rebates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company objectives.
• Enter customer promotions into the order-to-cash system.
• Ensure pricing models are updated regularly.
• Work directly with customers or internal departments to resolve pricing-related questions or concerns, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to assist with basic analytical reporting, including volume, pricing, and ad hoc sales analysis reports.
• Collect and analyze insights from customers on pricing.
• Apply awareness and understanding of product costing principles to understand price changes.
• Help communicate and maintain process controls across all departments, ensuring authoritative signatures are captured when needed, rebates are reviewed according to the audit schedule, and customer agreements are maintained.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in pricing analysis and detail-oriented accounting.
• Strong skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of work experience or equivalent experience through a credible internship.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of your choice. The office is located in the West End, where you'll join a team of 8 people. The team enjoys a collaborative culture, with team outings and personal and professional check-ins. The office is lively, led by an outgoing manager who supports team growth and success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis Park, MN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
