The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of a single restaurant location, ensuring a high standard of customer service, efficient staff management, and smooth operational flow. This role demands leadership, organizational skills, and a keen focus on maintaining food safety and quality while optimizing financial performance. The manager typically works evenings and weekends to meet the operational needs of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain inventory control and manage supply ordering
- Oversee scheduling and staffing to meet operational demands
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Handle customer issues and resolve conflicts promptly
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports as needed
- Operate and oversee Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years in restaurant management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in staff management and customer service
- Strong inventory control and financial reporting skills
- Experience with scheduling and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
